Strong demand for WA industrial land pushed off-market sales

The sale of investment property 4 Aitken Way, Kewdale, by Ray White Commercial WA has continued the trend of strong demand for the state’s industrial assets.

The industrial property, which is currently tenanted by pest-control company Rentokil, sold for $3.05 million and represented a return of 7.54 per cent on the current rental.

The 4,048sqm property located in a blue chip industrial sector was held for approximately 30 years by the previous owner, and was offered to the market for sale in an off-market campaign managed by Ray White Commercial WA industrial negotiator Martin Vogt and sales executive Lachlan Burrows.

“We often preach the benefits of our national investor database, and this was a great example of how effective this method of marketing is,” Mr Vogt said.

“For the past 12-18 months we have had strong demand nationally for WA based industrial assets and we see this trend continuing.”
