Investment funds snaps up WA healthcare asset for $4.1M

A major Western Australian healthcare asset has been snapped up by Barwon Investment Partners for a total of $4.1 million.

Located at 114 Spencer Street, Bunbury, the property was sold for $4.1 million with a 4.87 per cent yield.

The property was sold by Ray White Commercial WA salesperson Brett Wilkins, on behalf of a private investor, in an off-market deal.

Mr Wilkins has been associated with the sale of approximately $100 million in healthcare assets in the past two years.

“The Spencer Street property comprises a totally refurbished specialist centre on a prominent location in the medical heart of Bunbury,” Mr Wilkins said.

“It has a new 10-year lease to a brand new tenant – St John of Gods.

“The centre was purchased by Barwon Investment Partners who are a major fund investing in healthcare assets.

“Healthcare property is currently one of the hottest asset classes in Australia.”
